Scope of work
2 One Another.
As part of our ongoing partnership with Sydney Dance Company, Maud developed the advertising campaign for their 2017 Season Performance, 2 One Another.
A vivid, exultant and sensual study of human interaction, 2 One Another charts the myriad actions and reactions, gestures and relationships, connections and disconnections that make up a life. While researching the show, we noticed the recurrence of the idea of relationships and we wanted to visualise choreographer Rafael Bonachela’s thoughts on experiences between two individuals – the notion that people are shaped by their interactions in the world, by those around them, by their surroundings.
In collaboration with motion studio More and More, we visualised two opposing bodies interacting with each other against a backdrop of gridded and moving stripes of light, referencing the stage set design. The bodies are highly reflective, casting light off each other to represent their influence on those around them.
