About
We are a team of designers, developers, writers, producers and strategists based in Sydney and Melbourne, entrusted with some of Australia’s most iconic brands.

What we do

We work with people and businesses to help them in the evolution, reinvention or creation of their brand. We apply strategic thought to deliver effective design solutions across sectors at every scale.

How we do it

An enduring brand has the ability to stand the test of time whilst remaining flexible to changing consumer behaviours and market dynamics. When designed well, it forms a system of reusable elements, guided by clear rules and frameworks, coherently organised to enable the organisation to move faster and achieve a shared vision or purpose.

A no-nonsense approach to organic wine.

Bill Byron Wines is a new organic venture by the Findley Estate – a large-scale, family-owned vineyard in Mudgee, NSW.

William Byron Findley, known to his mates as Bill Byron, planted the vines in 1998 with the hope of producing enough wine that his family would never go dry. The 60-hectare vineyard, one of only a handful to be Certified Organic in Australia, is now tended by his son and daughter-in-law.

Bill Byron Wines wanted to enter the organic wine market with Bill’s characteristic no-nonsense approach to both organics and wine. A big man – tall, full of life and laughter – the brand needed to reflect the bold and confident attitude of its namesake as well as his sensitivity and skill as a winemaker.

The brand is a fine balance. The strong, graphic approach adopted for the logo and label reflect Bill’s courageous attitude, while subtle and intricate embellishments such as copper foils and blind embosses in the label acknowledge the attention to detail and craft involved in producing high quality wines.

“Maud has captured the no-nonsense approach we take to producing great premium organic wine and distilled it perfectly into a brand, label and website.”
